When you're staying in a hotel they refuse any responsibility for the valuables in your room -- you're on your own to try to protect them. The Brief Safe resembles a pair of underwear that no one would want to touch, but contains a secret compartment in which to hide your valuables.

What made me laugh today...

Every once in a while I rediscover Jack Handey. This web site contains over four hundred quotations by him. My current favorites:

• A man doesn't automatically get my respect. He has to get down in the dirt and beg for it.
• I saw on this nature show how the male elk douses himself with urine to smell sweeter to the opposite sex. What a coincidence!
