Here's a picture of some people protesting.



They're protesting the fact that some students failed the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) exam. Students who fail the TAKS are not allowed to walk across the stage to get their diplomas at commencement. Their cause is not helped by the fact that the woman in white is holding a sign that says "Let Are Kids Walk"

FlightAware is a web site that tracks domestic air traffic in US airspace. It updates every five minutes. One really interesting page is a movie that shows all flights for a twenty-four hour period. You really get a sense of when people fly and where the air traffic goes. If you know a flight number you can enter it and see the flight path (within the US).
